Coggin Honda Jacksonville

Coggin Honda Jacksonville is the Honda new-car, used-car, and service store at 11003 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32225. Google Places lists the sales phone as (904) 747-8668. This Stay Safe Jax page is only that Atlantic Boulevard Honda store. It is not Honda of the Avenues on Philips Highway, not Duval Honda, and not Coggin Honda in St. Augustine, Orlando, DeLand, or Fort Pierce. The Coggin name in Jacksonville starts with Luther W. Coggin Jr. The Florida Times-Union wrote in December 2019 that he opened a Pontiac and GMC dealership in Jacksonville in 1968 after moving from Alabama, built Coggin Automotive Group to 26 Florida stores plus stores in other states, and sold the group to Asbury Automotive Group in 2002. The Florida Automobile Dealers Association memorial, quoting his family, says that first Jacksonville point was Coggin Pontiac and GMC at the corner of Southside and Atlantic Boulevard. The Honda store Stay Safe Jax is reviewing today sits farther east on Atlantic Boulevard in the 32225 zip code, in the Arlington / Atlantic Boulevard corridor, not on Philips Highway. After Coggin’s death on December 10, 2019, the Times-Union and UNF records described his philanthropy as clearly as his dealerships. UNF’s library history of Building 42 says a 2002 gift helped name the Coggin College of Business. UNF’s endowments page lists Blanche and Luther Coggin fellowships, professorships, and scholarships. The Times-Union also named the Luther and Blanche Coggin Healthy Living Center at the Winston YMCA. That civic record belongs to the Coggin family name. It is not a substitute for how the Honda store treats a buyer or a service customer in 2026. Public ratings on this page are stored snapshots, not live scores. Google Places currently lists Coggin Honda Jacksonville at 4.5 from 8,411 reviews for the 11003 Atlantic Boulevard sales location, the same place ID stored here. A separate Google listing for the service department at the same address shows 4.5 from 1,207 reviews. The stored Yelp snapshot for Coggin Honda Jacksonville is 3.2 from 157 reviews. Stay Safe Jax averages the stored Google and Yelp sales snapshots, so the headline is 3.85. Large Honda stores often show that split: a high Google score next to a lower Yelp score. Google Places lists wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance. The Better Business Bureau files the store as Coggin Honda Superstore On Atlantic and, as of this review, shows it as a BBB Accredited Business with a B+ rating. The BBB complaints page includes customer reports about repeated air-conditioning repairs and other service disputes. Those are individual BBB complaints, not court findings. Stay Safe Jax does not treat them as an Attorney General case. An FTC administrative action involving Asbury Automotive named Texas David McDavid stores, not this Jacksonville Honda point. Do not mix that Texas docket with 11003 Atlantic Boulevard. Google Maps currently lists sales hours Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Service hours are posted on a separate Google listing and can differ. Check the Google or Yelp listing before you go. Stay Safe Jax leaves warning flags at 0. Coggin Honda on Atlantic Boulevard is a long-running Jacksonville Honda dealer with a strong Google score, a mixed Yelp snapshot, a BBB file residents can read, and a family history that is public in the Times-Union and at UNF.
