Research What Jacksonville residents should know
Famous Automotive & Tire Center is a Stay Safe Jax catalog listing for a Jacksonville tire and auto shop. This review could not verify a current public Google Places listing under that exact operating name. Stay Safe Jax does not attach a nearby shop just to fill a rating card. The neighborhood on this page is Jacksonville, not a guessed Westside or Southside bay. An earlier Places dump offered Adam Automotive & Tire Shop LLC at 2009 Lane Avenue South and two Apex Tire & Auto shops, at 1964 Cassat Avenue and 5717 University Boulevard West. Those are different businesses. Stay Safe Jax did not attach them. Older Goodyear dealer pages still print Famous Automotive & Tire Center at 9962 San Jose Boulevard and 1964 Cassat Avenue. A Florida Sunbiz-style company file for Famous Automotive & Tire Center LLC, document L18000073943, lists a principal address of 5717 University Boulevard West. Cooper Tire and CARFAX pages now show Apex Tire & Auto at that University Boulevard address, and a CARFAX review even mentions “Famous Automotive on University Blvd West” while scoring Apex. That overlap is a reason to be careful, not a reason to copy Apex’s 4.6 or 4.7 Google file onto this slug. The headline rating is now 0 and the review count is 0. Those zeros mean Stay Safe Jax does not have a verified consumer score under the Famous Automotive name, not that residents rated the shop zero stars. Stay Safe Jax has no stored Yelp rating. There is no current sourced lawsuit, license action, or Attorney General case attached to this page. Leaving the Google card empty is the honest file. Residents who remember Famous Automotive on University Boulevard, Cassat Avenue, or San Jose Boulevard should confirm the name on the door the day they go. Apex Tire & Auto now occupies at least two of those streets. Adam Automotive is a different Lane Avenue shop. Stay Safe Jax will not merge those brands. Warning flags stay at 0. This is an unverified catalog listing, not a hit piece and not a recommendation. If a confident Places match under Famous Automotive & Tire Center appears later, the Google snapshot can be added then.
